|
| The Hula Mai Band enjoys playing wonderful Hawaiian music for the Hula Mai Sisterhood.
There is no point in describing their music when it speaks so well for itself. Listen to "Kona Hotel," for example. Clay sings and plays uke while Jerry riffs on his steel guitar.
|
|
Gary Sugiyama drives his uke with the pedal to the metal, Jerry Wagner bends his steel guitar
like it was rubber, Clay Wilson's fingers dance on his uke, Karen Wagner pilots both four and eight string ukes,
Grant Bodwell powers his acoustic guitar with deft finger strokes, and Linda
Green points the way with either her stand-up bass or her bass ukulele,
depending on how the mood strikes her. Mark Tuel and Mary Ayres bend their tonsils up and down the scales along with Gary, Clay, Grant and Karen. Betty Ann is at the
helm with her ipu-heki and strong, traditional chanting voice.
John and Craig provide live audio mixing, set-up, and tech support. They are tattoo-free roadies.
